This was probably my most favourite station with its intricate Mudejar designs that Ive been to so far
The trains stop at Toledo so its easy NOT to get lost at this station lol 3 tracks and its all going 1 way…
1858 was the first train to arrive at this train station and until then the city had only had access via the Royal Road that went to madrid and it was painful to travel via these to the few destinations accounted for

24 min walk from the train station to my hotel

It was very touristy here with a hop on hop off bus starting from here which was a good idea because it is a bit of a walk from the station so for people who are there for just 1 day to sight see this is a great option

The train station set the scene for Toledo and what to expect from this vibrant and historical city! From the get go and to the first view of Toledo I was in love!

The materials used in this singular station were brick and stone, as well as iron and cement; the whole construction of plasterwork & woodwork – tiles from the Casa Mensaque in Seville

Your blog post was beautiful! I loved the photos and left a commment as well – great capture of a beautiful city!
