CoffeeClub Company sits right in one of my favourite parts of Yerevan… the Cascade area!
A relaxed spot for coffee, something to eat and a little people-watching while the city carries on around you… exploring Yerevan is always better with coffee involved!

Theres an interesting story behind Coffeeshop Company… they began in Austria in 1999 created by the Scharf Family, they have always played in coffee and coffee-making equipment which dates back many decades – he had actually started with coffee machines for the hospitality industry in the 1950’s! and then the family moved into roasting, importing and cafes..
Their first coffeeshop opened in Vienna and the idea behind this was to mix traditional Viennese coffeehouse culture with the newer concept of the modern takeaway coffee culture

The family also experimented with water treatment to create consistent coffee and even explored concepts involving air and “space harmonisation” inside coffee shops
When did they arrive in Yerevan?
They established a foot print in Armenia in 2014 and now have 3 branches
I remember finding this place first in 2019 and I liked their modern cup sizing as well as their alternative milk, so this was my go to back then when the other cafes around town hadnt caught up with the soy milk yet
My favourite area! the semi-covered area which can also be closed off during winter so its nice to sit here and watch people walk past
The coffee counter, at the back of the cafe, all the cakes are on display here so be careful lol
Some european style cakes, unfortunately no typical Armenian cakes for sale – still have to find one in Yerevan city!
They had these cronut thingys there and it took me such energy to moonwalk back out of the cafe without ordering one… looks amazing! and I bet it tastes pretty awesome as well
The inside of the cafe, pretty funky and stylish with the artwork and the painting and the huge coffee equipment (which I dont know the name of lol) on the wall
Great company, great coffee, awesome caffeine boost!
Nicely served on a tray with a little coffee chocolate and a glass of water – I like this European style service
The almond cappuccino was quite nice, the hotness of it is another story lol
They dont know how to do EXTRA HOT here in Yerevan yet!
The french toast with fried egg – apparently tasty by the eater and ravaged lol
The sitting area outside is nice to sit at during the summer, they also have a semi-open area just in front where they have comfy couch seats
In 2020, Alexander Schärf & Söhne entered insolvency and an Austrian hospitality group TQSR bought the Coffeeshop Company brand with headquarters in Vienna – sad end for the family coffee company 😦
