LOCATION
Located on Tumanyan close to Saryan St in a bustling area of the city and this stylish place brings together coffee, books, vinyle records,flowers and a contemporary design, its a place where you can relax and enjoy the environment
THE BUILDING ~ A REINVENTED UNIQUE SPACE!
What a cool and hip place this J Space Jazzve hub is!
The place goes beyond just a normal cafe, its and interesting example of how a cafe can be reinvented as a contemporary gathering space
Located on Tumanyan towards the side of Saryan St, its a great location, but it really is a hideen gem!
I would never have guessed behind these doors was a large hidden eco system! – ooo, I like the door frame!
The former JAZZVE cafe which was a familiar name in Yerevans Coffeehouse scene a while back
So headed by the Armenian based and privately owned Maeutica, Polyline Studios reinvented the interior I believe back in 2023 – and luckily they didnt strip away all of the existing histroic building, they basically worked around the complex layout of the building and created interconnecting areas for dining, relaxing, browsing and socialising, it really is unique and has a very hip feel to it, using wood,m stone, leather, with rich earthy colours

THE OUTSIDE SITTING AREA ~ Watch the People go by!
We sat outside where there was plenty of open space and chair to enjoy the people walking past
The strawberry and lavender Armenian coffee was really nice!
Now, I wasnt expecting this at all!!
Firstly, stepped inside and it wasnt BLARRING with the loudest music ever where you can hear yourself drink coffee, it was calm and relaxed and amazingly unique furnishing, colourful and fun!
Fell in love with this place instantly!
☕️ WHERES MY COFFEE? lol ~ FROM BAR TO MOUTH
The counter was inside at the back and on the massive tuff stone counter which is one of the masterpieces of the building interior
They use the traditional way to heat up the coffee in this small jazzve, the coffee bubbles away inside it as she pushes it around the hot sand
The rather extravagant cakes, with equally extravagant pricing!
Yummy scone looking things, would have liked more armenian style baked goods though
THE INTERIOR ~ FANCY A LOOK AROUND WITH ME?
There are 4 small stores inside:
- Zangak Bookstore – books
- Garage Records – Vinyls & music
- J.Flowers – fresh flowers
- Micro-boutique – crafts and merchanise bracelets etc
And the J.Flowers stall, selling beautiful flowers!
The suttle hues of the autumn inspired colours of the flowers and the space
I just love how beautifully furnished every corner is
TThe Micro boutique just across from the registers, they had little beads and things, looks like they make bespoke jewellery! cute!
I got a strawberry and lavender Armenian soorj
What a different type of coffee this was, I highly recommend it, had subtle flowery flavours, I enjoyed it a lot
Cool sitting areas at the back with actually comfortable chairs where you can read or work
Garage Records – A cool funky record store like place where they had all these cool old school records lined up
At the back was the Zankag book store done in a nice tasteful design – I would love to read a book over coffee, thats my jam!
Another huge sitting area with nice wooden furnture and floors and very inviting with comfy chairs
Another area way down the back of the cafe, so cool! very alternative and funky, yet stylish with a crisp and clean feel and look to it
Its more than your average cafe this, ill be coming back for sure and bringing any tourists with me as I think they will like this area – If i need to go to a quiet space this will be it, because they dont have loud blaring music, its awesome and many different small areas so the there is a bit of priavcy as well if you want to work
