Surf cafe x 404 on Saryan brings its own little personality to Saryan St
The Saryan café, known as Surf Coffee x 404, was the brand’s first location in Yerevan opening in 2024
It has a really cosy, relaxed atmosphere and a quirky interior
The outside is made out of the usual beautiful Tuff stone and a plain but elegant look to it
Walking along Saryan, its not short of coffee shops! But the beauty is that you can try them all out and find your favourite, just here is a row of 3 cafes!
But I like sitting outside under the awning at Surf Cafe and watching the world go by… ok lets be honest, on NOT SO comfy wooden seat, but then again, its very soviet inspired over here, so why am I surprised lol
The brand originated in Russia and eventually expanded beyond its home market, bringing its laid-back coffee culture to Yerevan
This location was previously another cafe before Surf took ownership
The interior of the cafe is a bit unusual, inside it has random coloured walls and curtains, a large painting that contains a hidden surprise if you look up close!
The cafe offers interesting cookies and cakes as well as iced coffees, interesting lemonades, signature drinks and light snacks
The workers are all quite young and funky and very friendly helping us choose BANANA MILK to go with our latte! How cool is that?! lol banana milk, love it!
The rather yummy cakes! and I was glad to see an Armenian traditional nazook as well! GOOD! not just European cakes
The outside sitting area matches the chairs with the other Surf cafes, ridged hard and the need to bring your own cushion lol
