Segafredo Abovyan Yerevan:
Coffee, History & Things to Know Before You Visit
Segafredo Cafe is an Italian coffee brand with a history that goes back to 1973
Cinnabon is sharing this location and set up inside and also on the menu here as they are owned by the same establishment that runs Segafredo

LOCATION
Segafredo is an Italian-style café and coffee shop on Abovyan Street
It’s at 36 Abovyan, close to Yeritasardakan metro

There are 3 locations:
- Abovyan Street
- Northern Avenue
- Zvartnots Airport
Abovyan Street itself is named after Khachatur Abovian, one of the most important figures in Armenian literature

The outside area is pretty popular with tourists and locals alike

The downstairs area is open plan with comfy seats to choose from
Looks out towards the balony area at the front, which is practically always full in summer!

We decided to head upstairs as we wanted to get our laptops out to do some work
A funky, modern feel to the place, glass, steel and wood combined to create a modern and bright cafe

Upstairs is a nicely open and interesting place with light colours and comfortable chairs, plenty of light streams in from the tall windows

Heading towards the back there are couches here to lounge on and relax with your coffee

Working here was very comfortable and the music wasnt too distracting as all other cafes are

I grabbed a Japanese Cherry tea which came in a nice big pot and with a cookie
Their Menu
I actually really liked the design and layout of the menu, very colourful with funky glasses and unique different flavours of drinks

The Jirayr Avetisyan memorial-plaque connection to this building and apartment will be installed here over the coming years
