Milford Sounds is a fiord within Fiordland National Park Piopiotahi Marine reserve, its basically New Zealands top tourist location, with helicopter tours, flight tours and cruises constantly experiencing the beauty of this fiord

We got picked up at around 7:30am for our 8am flight and went to Queenstown airport, the bus had around 12 of us and everyone was really excited!

Our little plane was the first to land at milford sound airport
The inside of the plane, with 12 seats
Flying low amongst the mountains, it was such a beautiful flight so close to the snow caps!
Our flight path towards Queenstown – 5hr bus ride vs 40min small plane flight
We then jumped onto a cruise boat and set off to explore Milford Sound
Waterfalls all over the joint! They took us right up under it I regreted now having brought my shampoo with me
Spot the seal! We saw some seals playing in the beautiful water
Every where you turned it was beautiful and lush!
The water looked so beautiful and blue!
Tiny little boats looking like toys
How beautiful is this glacial lake! Freshwater and such a beautiful colour
We flew really close to some of the mountains, the snow looked fake!
How beautiful are the streams running between the mountains
One of the beautiful high level lakes
Andy had 15 years of experience and loved his job with a view!
Royal Carribean cruise liner and another smaller one in the sounds
Lake wakatipu – the colours were so beautiful!
Flight path back to Queenstown
Lake looks like a lazy serpent

Such a great experience! Beautiful scenery… Its well worth the money! It was expensive but I would give it a go again, it cost $585nz for the flight and 2hr cruise, 8am-12pm
