I really enjoyed this accommodation as it was a local pub and it was nicely rennovated and had quite a few events on and dinner was fully booked (I got a table though) and the food was fantastic – the manager wasnt the nicest most friendly person but the staff were nice – I would have given 4 star but the manager on both days was just not that nice or approachable, it does make a difference to me when I book a place to stay

Parlking is included, they have a small parking lot across the road and if thats full, there is a larger one behind where the old railway was

THE PROPERTY

The building has so much character – loved it as soon as i saw it

The building was really cute! Loved how it was an old school local pub thats been rennovated and modernised

The interior has been nicely upgraded in a pretty cool masculine style which is dark, yet cosy and interesting

MY ROOM

The room was on the ground floor and very close to the pedestrians and cars going past constantly, I didnt mind though as I had ear plugs in! 🙂 if you can, ask for a top floor room

Clean and comfortable

Bathroom is modern and clean

Bideford Town is close by over the bridge, the bridge itself is so ancient and beautiful

All in all, its a unique hotel and pub with a different style and flair which you dont often see in smaller towns
