We stayed in an amazing area of Venice! Our apartment was literally less than a 2min walk to St Marks Square and tucked away in a little alley way

This apartment was literally someones home, I felt like a local and how it would be to live in Venice, it was such a nice experience and different from staying in a hotel or b&b

An easy walk straight to the main square, actually, the main bedroom can see part of the basilica!
Walking into the back alleyways of venice, we had to keep a good look out as you can pass by the entrance
Living with the locals, finally found the buzzer and an easy access to get in – directions for getting to the accommodation and inside was very simple
Be prepared for a few levels of stairs but its worth it!
The hallway – felt like home instantly!
You can see the top of the bell tower from the main bedroom balcony & you can hear the excited hussle and bussle
The main bedroom
The second bedroom (no windows) this room can be dark but we were ok with that as we were out most of the day anyways
The main living room and dining area attached to the small kitchen

Note: this apartment was a little dark but its expected as the alley ways outside are narrow and you are basically looking into someone elses apartment and the light is blocked from the other buildings

The kitchen – very well equiped with nice clean plates and cutlery

we cooked and the stove was great, microwave came in handy and there was a small fridge

The clean and new cutlery
Plenty of cups and plates
The view down to the alleyway
Bathroom is large – bring your own toiletries – I think soap is provided only
The laundry room and a spare toilet which came in handy with 5 people!
Loved people watching from the small balcony – I felt like I was living the life of a local italian and it was a nice feeling ๐Ÿ™‚

I liked this apartment purely for the fact that I was staying in someones home, it wasnt extravagant but it was sweet, it was a bit dull as not much light streaming in from the windows but that didnt really both us
