The check in was open at 17:10 for a 21:10 departure – check in E and for the first time in my life I was the FIRST person in the queue to get INTO the queue! 🤣
Booked seat 78A extra $30 on top of the flight
If you book the seats in the back there is more chance you will have an empty seat next to you
The seats are actually really large and comfy so no complaints there – easy and quick check in with heaps of people but it flowed smoothly calling from zone E to A
Ended up with a free seat in the middle which was great!! And a nice talkative english guy on the aisle seat
Dinner was good! I couldnt reach my phone to take a photo as the guy in front was sleeping and had his chair really pushed back but it was penne pasta with red and green capsicum sauce with a small side salad and a iced cake for dessert
Only 6 hours left… another sleep time!
Snack was a vegan pastry which I gave to my new english friend, he seemed to have liked it
The breakfast / dinner
Was an interesting flight as we followed the moon the whole 14hours! It was dark outside the whole time – we had dinner first and as we were landing it was 5am in Dubai so this one was breakfast… it was constantly dark, like we were in a casino so felt really wierd with the timings and constant darkness
Had a fantastic sleep throughout – I think I slept around 8-10hours of the flight 😴 missed all the snacks and had to be tapped to be woken up to eat
Its actually quite a nice plane, spacious and comfortable even in economy
Arriving into Dubai at around 4:50am
Smooth landing – easy and quick departure from the plane with no issues
Always a top notch experience with Emirates!
