I ended up booking a flight to Bucharest a month before just because I hadnt been to Romania and also it was dirt cheap!! $50au return flights – BOOKED NO QUESTIONS ASKED – I found an apartment for $670au for 7 nights

Got a Yandex to the airport at 15:55 and took around 35mins there was some afternoon traffic but was not a bad run – 2,100 + 300 tip

So far, so good! busy but everything moved along nicely
It was a little more busy than usual this early before a flight but it didnt take long to get my ticket, 15mins later off to departures
I got a free taxi service included with my booking.com booking and I was happy about that as I got there late and wasnt looking forward to catching the bus

BUCHAREST IS MUCH MORE POPULAR DESTINATION THAN I’D IMAGINED!
For some reason, I’d pictured Romania as one of those places not many people thought about visiting… but this flight was getting fullll
Pretty happy with the leg space HOWEVER⦠everyone was active on this flight so they all stood around and tried to stand in the area in front of me where I had my legs extended⦠anyways⦠silly problem not to complain about!
Not only that but it was a much larger plane than im used to with around 40 rows rather than the usual 28/29 smaller wizz flightsβ¦
from this I knew straight away that Bucharest was no joke and was actually a very popular flight path⦠My thoughts on Bucharest was really wrong, I thought it was a destination no one really wanted to go⦠wow, I was to learn a thing or 2 lol
Bucharest Airport!!!! I was excited to be here!
The passport line was really long and I had to message my driver to let him know – it was a good 45-55mins
Flower vending machine!!! The first ive seen in my life!
The departure lounge area was interesting⦠and I easily found our new meeting point
Marian was a lovely guy and a great driver and got me quickly to my apartment, also telling me a bit about the history and the stories of Romania
The driver was awesome! Quick and easy drive as it was night time and I later realised how lucky I was not to have been stuck in traffic during the day⦠woukd have been 3 times as long!
I was happy to arrive at my apartment and just relax with a tea and just chill on the comfy couchβ¦ I must say, I do love Wizz Air! β€οΈ
