It’s an easy metro ride into the city around 10mins or 45-50min walk

Great location to stay at if you will be catching a train our of Barcelona straight away as it’s right above the Train Station “Barcelona Sants”
30mins on Metro from International Airport T1 -> Sants Estacio

Barcelo Sants is located right on top of the main train station Estacio Sants on outskirts of Barcelona

It took me a few goes and then had to ask! But to get to the hotel you go inside the station and take the exit to Placa de Joan Peiro and turn left

Once you have turned left you see a tiny H sign and this is it – wasn’t well labelled but could have been worse!
And the entrance, I finally found it!

Designed like a boarding desk for a flight

I didn’t realise it was a space themed hotel until I saw this thing – and it’s the first thing I saw as soon as the elevator opened and it scared the crap outta me!

They had a little food area where you could purchase snacks and drinks
They have a free drink on arrival… ive had 2 already HIC

Look, i dont mind it, its never anything bad its just different, but it reminds me too much of modern sydney and I dont really want that when im in europe (just my opinion ok!) I want unique Spanish or something else than this modern white and black boxy plain look

Saying that I would recommend it for its location! Ive been traveling by train and my trains have left and arrived at Sants station and this hotel has been at the best location so I can base myself at – I even left my main luggage here at the hotel and travelled with only a backpack and returned after 6pm so for that I say this hotel is a key for my journey
