One of 2 of my only 5 star rating – This place really deserves it, they go above and beyond on their customer service, their staff look and act like they want to be there and are all really friendly and up for a chat

Another reason for the 5 star going above and beyond are the complimentary pantrys which are scattered around the hotel, they give free sparking water and still water as well as soft drinks, additional coffee capsules, chips, popcorn, cookies 24/7 for your leisure – also on arrival is a free drink of your choice, wine, beer whatever and in the room was a bottle of ginger liquer with shot glasses, what a way to stand out from other retreats and hotels – small thing but really matters
Another thing I really liked, they dont have single use bottles of shampoo and conditioner, instead they have really exotic larger pump bottles which they refill and also they sell it at their cafe / shop if you want to buy it for yourself (I would have if I lived in the UK!)
They do stand out from the other places ive stayed (even compareable to the castles) hence the 5 stars
The best coffee I had in the UK was here at the resort as well! HOT and awesome!
ARRIVAL & CHECK IN
Best check in experience – I had a drink of arrival and was walked to my room by a friendly staff member who also toured me around the spa area

THE PROPERTY
Lovely farms surround the property and it feels beautiful to ben surrounded by pastures and greenery
I took my drone up and took a flight above the beautiful property
There is a lot of history in this property, used to be another hotel and they have recently rennovated it and have some old paintings lining the walls

A lovely feminine room with pastel colours and comfortbale furniture – a good sized room
Complimentary liquor in my room
The fantastic shampoo and conditioner – they also sell this at the cafe shop outside
The bathroom was nice clean and modern with a great shower and water pressure
The room had plenty of space
BREAKFAST
OMG breakfast was fantastic – I had simple fruit and coconut and mango yogurt and some toast – the coffee was one of the best ive had in England and I had to have 2!
DINNER
Dinner was fantastic! I ordered eat in as I had a long day of driving that day and the food came hot and yummy – pumpkin raviolli and salad with a starter of cauliflower popcorn – everything was perfect!
THE SITTING AREAS
On the ground floor there are plenty of areas to sit and hang out and enjoy, the area is nicely furnished and has won an award recently for its interior design

The spa was downstairs and there was a gym and massage areas – would have been great to have another day where I could have the time to get a massage
I definitely recommend at minimum 2 full days and nights here as you have the time to enjoy the spa and also the outdoor activities and just the property itself
