FOR A PENSION IT HAS 4 STARS WHICH IS HIGH
Top marks on the location and top marks due to the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom
Modern, super clean, easy to find and get inside, communication was great with the owners and the shared bathroom was clean and perfect hot water

LOCATION
San Sebastian
Located in the old town of San Sebastian in a lovely and old area which is bustling and brimming over with restaurants / Tapas bars / cafes and so much life I didnt want to leave!
There is so much to explore in this town but because we were here and staying one night while walking the Camino Del Norte, we didnt have the luxury of time to explore out of the Old Town or enjoy the beach either
THE PENSION
Please note: For Spanish properties you always need to register online if the property doesnt have a reception, this means putting in your passport details and depending on their registration process it could be an upload of the scan or just the number but for this property I registered a day before via a link sent to whatsapp and booking.com – be aware that usually this needs to be submitted before they provide access details to the property
The front door was a code to get in and for the room key we had a code for the lock box when inside
The rooms were close and you could sometimes hear voices but for an old town property and location its expected
THE ROOM
We had room no. 6 and we got the last twin room
very spacious for 2 people – but not enougb chairs, only 1 provided and a small table
We didnt have a window in our room as the apartments in this area all look into each other and are packed together
THE BATHROOM
Fantastically clean and spacious with awesome hot water and bath gel
Looks like a kitchen as well (didnt get the chance to see this!) and 3 shared toilets so 2 rooms share a bathroom each
All in all I was very happy with this pension, as we were walking the Norte camino and by the end we would have stayed in a lot of different pensions and hostels, this was one of the better ones which was clean and spacious and would highly recommend – if you dont mind sharing a toilet with 2 other people then I recommend this accom!
