A clean modern apartment on the ground floor – located in the middle between the airport and Irun city centre, found in the residential area more so than town centre, great for us as we walked from the airport and were leaving on the camino so was close to the start of the camino as well

We decided to walk from the airport because it was only around 25-30mins and we are trying to get as many steps in as possible to practise for the camino
It was an easy walk, but the first 5mins we had to walk on the side of the motorway, we couldnt get across the road to the path on the other side for some reason there was no crossing, so we walked along the road, it wasnt too bad because it is a small town and there was room to walk, (We learnt as we started the camino that traffic is used to people walking along any which road they want including major motorways lol)
The foyer was clean and modern with light colourings
It was a softer mattress which is what I like with soft pillows, perfect for me
The room was very small, we were 2 people and it was tight for us – also the room we had, room 6 was at the front of the building and we didnt have a window looking out so be aware, this wasnt a problem for us as the room was comfy but it was dark and when we opened the window at night the spotlights outside were lit – just be aware, this didnt annoy us for our stay

I really enjoyed this accommodation and would def recommend it especially if you are on the camino as its nice and close to the starting point – nice and quiet we had a pleasant sleep
