Flight day is finally here! Im on my way to Napoli!

I love italy so for me this is so special – I found flights with WIZZAIR that cost me $77AU return and bagged them STRAIGHT AWAY!

So, my day started off with waking up early to do some exercises and have my coffee while waiting for the sun to come out (finally it did!) but it was sitting in the minus figures for most of the morning, so it was going to be nice to go from 0 ❄️ degrees to 15 ☀️

I headed downstairs to book my yandex to the airport and was lucky enough to have the driver accept who was in the car right in front of me at the lights!
4hrs 15min direct flight

Hopped in and on my way to the airport at 10:30 got there around 11 and it was empty as! It cost me 1500drams ($5.70au) for the trip 💗

The departures were pretty empty at this time but with experience, I know its going to fill up pretty quickly!

I went to the check in and with no line up went straight through… the plane is full it seems, ive been shoved into a middle seat at the front of the plane… my most least fav position lol but with wizz u cant change u have to pay so there you go…

My flight with WIZZ was at 13:20 and looks like the flight is on time as there was a gate already assigned
With ticket in hand, i head over to the departure gates and passport check and baggage, it all took less than 5mins

Anyways, saying that, the water is ok/cheapish, you can get 2 x bottles for 960 dram around $4au and this airport doesnt have any freshwater taps

The view out to the mountains from the terminal was lovely! It was so nice seeing the snow covered mountain tops, for an aussie, it feels so surreal…

Its 12:04 and I’m sitting here at the airport writing this and enjoying being here… waiting for departure

I leave from gate 2 today
Just strolled onto the tarmac, everyones just all over the place taking photos and chilling and no one cares and I LOVE THAT about Armenia! I dont take this for granted…
Line wasnt too long, I waited until the end and boarded last
Ararat came out to play in all its white snowy glory!
There were any seats at the back so I snuck to the back and had seats to myself

Landed in Naples…

We walked off the plane and straight onto the bus to the airport terminal
Didnt take long at all to get through passport control, pass baggage collection and out…

Naples is a small airport so literally under 30mins to get outside

Outside was beautiful and sunny!

people everywhere, now all I needed was to look for the Alibus shuttle service into the city

There you are! Easy to find and follow direction
it was am easy 5-8min walk down from the terminal to the bus stop into the city
The bus cost 5 euro, you can either book online (I did via booking.com) or with cash or card on the bus – its very regular – check timetable here or online -> https://www.redbus.com/bus-travels/alibus
30mins trip to the main train station (where I got off) and it continues onto another 2-3 stops

Nice and easy experience with both Wizz and Alibus, very simple to travel to Naples and the airport is small and compact and easy to navigate
