We got the yandex at around 19:06 and lucky cos it was such traffic and what should have taken 20-30min was 45mins but we got there and didnt have to wait for the check in

It took us a while to get past the customs area the line was long and by the time we got past duty free it was 20:45 and we had to board at 21:10 so it was perfect timing

The airport was pretty busy – id never been there before at 9pm, in always at departures around midnight or after
Flight board stating that our check in was from counter 21-27, and headed straight over
Passed through passport check. Noticed that they have taken Ararat mountains off of the stamp which is sad but its all a political move, its a small gesture but it meant so much to the Armenians and its upset a lot of people

21:40 flight boarding 21:10 and we hopped on the bus to the plane

Was 4 degrees outside so people shuffled in quickly to board the plane
Wizz now has a permanent placement at Zvartnots airport which is great as it gives Armenia easier access to Europe
The flight was full to venice

Wizz charge $22us to choose your seat, thats just so expensive! Its the same price of my ticket to Venice! I dont know why they dont just charge $5-10 and make additional money as most people would just pay it if it wasnt so expensive

On board baggage is 10kg for a backpack or draggy bag and a personal item which is good and enough for me, no complaints there

We landed exaclty 23:00 as expected! Great flight and had the bus waiting for us for transfer
The bus picked us up from the plane and drove us around 5mins to the entrance

We jumped off the bus and into Venezia Airport to the passport area – easy biometric passport scan and got a stamp as well

Was expecting that they were going to get the finger scanner out, and im glad they didnt – it has aparently started in oct 2025 – dont like this whole idea at all!

โ›ด๏ธ Never seen this sign before in an airport!! ๐ŸŒŠ
The arrivals at that time was quiet and a small area as well with not much going on not many shops etc
There are 5 different ways of getting to venice from the airport – the coach is one of them

All options are expensive so you have to find the easiest option for where you want to go

We used uber to get to our hotel on Mestre side of Venice (mainland) โ‚ฌ75 for a van

Our hostel was really close took 20mins and as it was nearly midnight the roads were quiet
