I decided to stay here at Mothern By Pillow because of the fantastic location!

Honestly, I would stay here just for where it is, just a close walk to the main old town centre and also Las Ramblas and close to Catalunya Square where you can catch the Aerobus to and from the airport

Located right on the main road of Rda de Sant Pere and corner of the main road Via Laietana (one of my favourites in Barcelona!)

Easy access to the rooms which is by keypad, so take your time to remember it or you get locked out LOL

My room was one of the smaller rooms so perfect for a single person as there wasn’t much room to move

They have a small fridge which comes in very handy as I like to do my own shopping and make sandwiches for lunch etc – there is a table and a seat there as well

Blackout curtains…. SO GOOD!!!

Toilet is clean and modern – perfect!

The balcony looks out to all the excitement of the Main Street

There was always something to look at, traffic flowing, people walking, its noisy so at nights I would close the balcony door to minimise the noise, I liked being on the Main Street though, I use earplugs when I sleep so I was ok

The colour scheme is very classic and chic with dark greens, yellow, reds and browns and creams, nice colour scheme throughout, clean and modern

Seems like others can come in and use the space as a work area as well – like a working hub or co-working space

A great place to grab a book off the shelf and find a comfy couch to relax and rest on while getting lost in the world of fantasy!

There is also an outside sitting area which is lovely and inviting and covered in case of rain

All in all a great little boutique hotel with modern interior on the main road in the centre of Barcelona close to everything basically!

I recommend to bring ear plugs as the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours

From what I remember they have a seperate site that they require you to pay via than booking.com which got me a bit worried but its legit – I actually was already in Barcelona staying somewhere else so being super careful I walked over and paid at the hotel directly via the link

Rooms are small but worth it due to the location
