BOOKED via BOOKING.COM <– Very easy! all bookings in one place, they also price match – where are you going next?

The walk from from the train station was around 25mins and via the Palace so I decided to walk to the palace and explore a bit there before heading to the hotel

As I had a backpack it was easy to do and didnt weigh me down too much

Didn’t realise that I had booked my hotel overlooking the most busiest plaza in Madrid!

Found my hotel by following the loud noise of hundreds of people! Dodging tourists and locals alike I found the side entrance to my hotel just above KFC

The entrance to the hotel

It’s a 24hr / 7 day manned reception so basically you have to leave your key at reception and when you want to get to your room you have to buzz the front gate and they let you in – now tbh this was one part of my stay here which I didn’t really like as I would prefer to have a key and make my own way in without having to buzz anyone

Theres is a lift to get you to 3rd floor where the hotel is located
The living area and the kitchen where breakfast is served
My room with 58 beds! Ok 2, but they were both huge

Decent sized room with huge beds that were REALLY comfortable and plenty of light from the balcony overlooking the square

The walls were pretty thin but it wasn’t too bad as I wore ear plugs

Decent bathroom which was clean
Bathroom bits and pieces supplied
Even though my room was overlooking the square the balcony doors were really great with their sound proofing and worked really well to block out most of the noise!
Being at this location was actually really entertaining – stood on the balcony and people watched quite a bit

2.5 star for not being able to have my own key to make my own way in and out

Compared to the other accoms this was really basic with the room and the decorations and price was really expensive (understanding that it’s major city and its right in the middle)

Top location!

Fantastic bed!

Great views!
