Here we go… another nearly 24hr flight! Being so far away from most of the amazing places in the world can be annoying at times but lucky I do love everything about airports and planes…
This flight was chock a block… got laughed at by the young check in chick when I asked for a free upgrade (lol those were the days eh?) I even put jewelery and lipstick on! LOL anyways, im ok with staying economy, scared cant go back once I fly business or first (thats my excuse any way! 🤣)
Sydney airport was busy and packed – these days majority of ppl are getting to the airport 3hrs before an international flight so it still takes ages to line up and check in
THE FLIGHT
A comfortable Boeing 777 seated 3-4-3 with around 6 rows at the back with 2 seats
I had seat 45k window seat
Food was decent, bread rolls werent hot for either meals which wasnt ideal but .. oh well
This was pasta and veggies wth salad and a sponge cake
Breakfast wa boiled spinach and tomatoes wth baked beans, fruit and yogurt
There were cute little stars on the ceiling which had a nice feel to it
Seats were actually pretty decent sized and comfy. I think Emirates have some of the larger sized economy seating
The entertainment was really good, the screen size was huge and was easy to use with plenty of movie options – no complaints at all!
The business class seats… keep walking lol
14.5hrs later got to Dubai for my transfer
Being 4am, the airport was the quietest id seen!
A long walk from one side to the other
Had to catch the bus to Terminal F which was a 30min bus ride
All in all, this was a great flight, comfy, there was no turbulence and I even got to sleep a while! HIghly recommend Emirates as one of my top airlines of choice
