We were dropped off at the airport with plenty of time to spare, so a few of us went to the nearby hotel and had some lunch and a few drinks before walking over to the main terminal

They were building and upgrading so there was a lot of work going on

Booked a late flight as we had to make our way to Tirana from Vlores
Got to the airport early at 2:30pm so decided to have lunch at the hotel where Jo was staying so we had lunch there and headed over to the airport 5min walk
Check in was super easy at one of 25 check in desks
Flight leaving 19:05 and had plenty of time
Tirana departures is tiny and only 12 gates

I was leaving from G4

There is a games section with paid games for those who are really bored
The duty free and food lounge was really well done with colourful sitting areas and shops
We sat inside for an hour and had some drinks before heading down to board
G4 boarding time 6:35pm

A very busy airport – we stood outside for a while waiting to get on the plane

A nice view of Tirana as we leave this awesome country
And landed into Athens nice and quickly – on time and great experience
Headed straight towards Terminal A and same passport control and luggage area as last time
Flight to Yerevan boarding from A terminal as its not part of the EU
Getting to know Athens airport – walking around the airport and the shops
Waiting to board the plane was packed, many people and a small boarding gate so was hot and busy

Arrival into Yerevan was crowded! The passport area was packed! A few flights came in at same time

Was nice landing back in Yerevan 🙂
