Yessss! A new cafe to test out… Lelelelee

A cafe inspired by Japan – you can tell right away with translation next to “the coffee” (obviously! lol) and the cafes clean cut lines, lighting and minimalism

Tokyo is the city with the largest number of TO GO coffee shops in the world and Japan has been emerging on the world scene of specialty coffees. High quality, perfectionism, minimalism and space optimization are some of the characteristics that inspired the creation of The Coffee

LOCATION

On the busy road and in a beautiful old tuf stone building, you cant miss the entrance to this shop, its big and bright and catches the eye!

A 5min walk from Cascade

Sylvie wanted to try this place so Im grateful a new cafe has been found for me and I get to explore with some friends

Looks nice from the outside, really modern and bright with very high ceilings
The front counter is modern, bright and plenty of space to move
Looking down from the 2nd floor
The 2nd floor – can be missed off you don’t look up! The ceilings are really high in this cafe and can fit in another seating area
The beautiful building from the outside – i loved the talk windows and doorway
The cakes on offer
The front counter area where you can order or wait for table service
Heres to tasting our cappucinos!!!

We each got an almond cappucino, I asked if thry can do “hot hot hot” He said yes of course…

…And, it wasnt very hot at all! 😫 mine was barely luke warm

The banana and carrot cakes were nice

The bottom floor which is open and inviting with neutral colours and a splash of orange on the pillars
Selling some Armenian books

All in all, nice tasting coffee but I wasnt really satisfied, unfortunate to say this… was served luke warm and didnt have a kick to it – im still looking for that cofffeeeeeee… tbc
