Ive always wanted to stay at this resort as ive seen the building a few times and always loved the architecture of it, so I was pretty excited to finally be back and chose to stay here to experience it
The Grand Resort in Jermuk is an eye catching red tuff building with strength & character!
Found in the middle of the town of Jermuk, you CANT miss it – if you are seeking a relaxing retreat where you can indulge yourself, then this hotel offers modern amenities along with traditional Armenian hospitality
There are many different types of rooms to choose from:
King / Twin (w. w/o Balcony) – King Suite / Presidential Suite
They have an indoor swimming pool, spa and a fitness centre for adults only, so if you want to relax without the children around you have that option

LOCATION
Great location which was smack bang off the Main Street of Jermuk and close to the shops and driving distance to the waterfalls

We walked to the waterfall which was much more fun! It takes around 20-30mins
NOTE!
If you are looking to get to the waterfall AND If you want an adventure and are mobile and fit enough for climbing down steep and rickety metal staircase, I really recommend walking to Jermuk Hotel and finding at the back of the hotel, these stairs – you won’t regret it! (or maybe you will lol but don’t blame me!) for us, it was half the fun of getting to Jermuk Waterfall
Walk this way to the stairs…

AND THIS IS WHAT I MEAN BY “RICKETY” & “ADVENTURE” … boy was it awesome…

The entrance lobby was grand, the resort itself is not exactly this day and age modern but I like it as it has a calming look and effect as you walk into the foyer area through the revolving doors from the carpark

There were plenty of sitting areas in the large foyer, this area is right outside the restaurant room so you can bring your food out here if you choose as the restaurant can get noisy

The map of our wing of the resort – we were facing the parking lot, the rooms with balcony face the back of the resort which looks out to the park and water that flows past down the stream

The massage list for the spa

Breakfast the following day was served between 8 and 11am and was a typical armenian spread which was awesome to see instead of the western equivilent

I suggest to take a walk around and enjoy the fresh air and the sound of the water flowing past

I highly recommend staying in this amazing tuff stone resort, the service is nice and typically Armenian, the food is fresh and very filling and the rooms are comfortable and has everything needed – the spa and pool area is nice and clean for all and if you want to spend the extra money on a massage or spa treatment, you can do so here
