Farm Sotira was one of my favourite cabin stays in Europe! It was authentic, comfortable and I felt at home being on this farm
Established in 1998, Farm Sotira is an organic food farm with cabins and camping grounds for tents and RVs – they offer food courses in teaching Albanian cooking, and you can volunteer and try your hand at looking after bees, horses or the gardens – they also offer Apitheraphy (inhale warm air enriched with propolis, royal jelly, beeswax and pollen

Out in the middle of nowhere and in the windy mountain paths, a beautiful place surrounded by rejuvenating nature
Farma Sotira is a family-run farm since 1998, located in the heart of nature, surrounded by forests and clean mountain air. We offer simple, homemade food from our own land, and cozy wooden cabins for guests who seek peace and authentic rural life. Horseback riding is our most unique experience. We organize rides through untouched trails, forests, meadows, and nearby villages, where guests can meet locals and feel connected to the land and its traditions. It’s perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. Children can feed the animals, help in the garden, and learn about farm life in a fun and natural way. At Farma Sotira, life is simple, real, and full of heart. Here, you arrive as a tourist… and leave as a friend.

The comfy and cute cabins that we stayed in facing the paddocks where the cows chickens and ducks roam freely
They offer cabins for 4 – 1 x double bedroom and 1 x twin including a modern and comfortable size bathroom

There was a chicken in one of the cabins happily clucking around near the stove in the front room
As you enter the cabin, you walk into the front room which has a sitting area and a heating stove for cold weather including chopped up wood for your use
The twin room in the double roomed cabin – nice and warm and comfy beds with lovely covers and sheets
The simple and modern bathroom which had everything needed including toiletries

The water is where they farm fish and they cook their own organic grown food
On the other side of the farm is the RV / camping area for campers and tents
