A cute little cottage (literally!) on the outskirts of Katoomba in the bushes

Main High St of Katoomba less than 5 min drive – close to coles and shopping galore nearby – great location as its close to the hustle and bustle but then when you come back to the cottage its so nice and quiet and feels like you are the only one around – the neighbourhood is quiet and relaxed

As we drove down the driveway we loved the little cottage we saw straight away!
Scribble gum cottage – named after the scribble gum trees in the property
Called Squiggle gum due to the many squiggle gums at the backyard which lead down to Katoomba Creek

The cute and modern bathroom between the 2 rooms

The nice fireplace with chopped wood supplied outside

We used the fireplace daily and it warmed the whole cottage so well and was warm through out the night too

The small kitchen with mostly everything you need (had to use a lasagna dish as a salad bowl 🙂 didnt bother us though!
