Actually, I got kicked out of my seat by a football team 🙄🤣
INTERCITY – Can run at up to 200 km/h (125 mi/h) on the high-speed AVE lines. Similarly to Alvia trains, these trains are designed with gauge changing technology enabling them to travel on both standard and high-speed rails.
So, I got kicked out of my seat by a football team… It’s never been a dull moment on these trains tell ya what!
There’s a group of around 8 guys in their early 20s in some sort of sporting uniform…
The head coach was sitting in my seat giving me a uninterested look when I looked at him pointing (in universal language) at his seat and said “you’re in my (pointing at me) seat”… (He knew very well!) I said in broken whatever language pointing at other seats, “look, I’ll go to whichever seat just tell me which is empty?” We looked at his ticket and HIS seat there was another blue uniformed boy just smiling at me… I’m like… Ummmm… then one of the players starts speaking in perfect english and in shock I asked him where’d he learn his english, he said “the Disney channel” and laughed (smartass!) The other one looks over at me and goes.. “nah nah, we from Fresno” with an American accent… Nice, this one’s going to be an interesting ride too…
They were nice enough quiet and respectful bunch of guys and it was a pleasure sitting in the carriage
