INTERCITY – This is a little articulated train hauled by a separate locomotive that can run at up to 200 km/h (125 mi/h) on the high-speed AVE lines.

There are around 7 trains per day running between Alcázar de San Juan and Albacete-Los Llanos

Had this whole morning to rest and relax and gave myself the time off and stretched and massaged my body as I’ve been walking between 8-12 hours a day, but I feel great! Full of energy every day…

I left the Hostal around 12:20pm and grabbed a takeaway coffee with leiche de soja which was nice and hot and I enjoyed it sitting outside the train station with the sun in my face peaking through the overcast day

Lucky for booking via the Trainline app, I could see that it was 16mins late – they didn’t announce in english at the station but it also shows on the board bt how late it is

The train number wasn’t the same as on my booking but I just went with the time of departure I think that’s the most important I’ve noticed
The tunnel leads to all the platforms
Underground tunnels led to each of the platforms lifts and stairs well organised and marked
There was a waiting room between platform 1 and 3

I went inside but it’s was like a waste of space! The way they designed it was a bit Wierd, not enough seating and the middle was all open and people on either side of the room just staring at each other, Wierd…

But the walls had beautiful designs on the tiles with detialed images of people farming and living it was nice!
Train arrived but was around 16mins late

I don’t mind as I only had 1hr to get to my next stop

Coche 3 – nicely and clearly signed for once!

Everyone ran for the train so I backed down and let everyone on

The train was packedddd already and excited chattering was going on the whole time the carriage was alive with excitement everyone was in a good mood and talkative today
Someone’s bag was on my seat ? So I waited and no one came along then a lady jumped back on the train she had gone out for a smoko and just left all her stuff

I absolutely love how people just leave their belongings and take off and go to the toilet, it’s very safe here and generally no one touches each other’s things, I like it! 🤗

Arrival at Albacete

Offft… What a noisy train! The 2 women behind me didn’t stop speaking in loud Spanish the whole time and even with my headset I could hear them – I was glad to get off, hot smelly and loud!

It’s an intercity so it would be more full of locals going shorter distances
