This boutique hotel is absolutely amazing to stay at! It comprises of 2 buildings, both of different styles, but both beautiful and unique!
This Art Nouveau treasure has a facade resurrected to its former glory in the “Armenian Belle Epoque” style and inside an appealing blend of old and new world!
It reminds me of a European villa with the courtyard and the well in the middle, its so lovely to just sit around the courtyard with the trees and the running water, a very relaxing place to stay and enjoy
Hotel is a perfect location! Just a 10min walk from the main square along the main old pedestrian way, Abovyan St

We arrived early, our rooms werent ready but that’s ok we left our bags at the reception
Villa Kars, in the old historic side of Gyumri
My room was in a lovely location! I had my own little courtyard just off the main one and loved the vines raining from the top balcony

All the stylish rooms at Villa Kars Hotel include antique-style décor and satellite TV channels
Basics included – tea, coffee, water
The room was small but clean and had a nice feel to it, bed was VERY comfortable
Detailed with initials of the Villa which was nice touch ive never seen this before

Had cute little kittens and a mother cat just outside my room!

Beautiful paintings and designs were incorporated into the rooms and their balconies or courtyards
Looking down from ground level to sub level 1 where there was a mosaic like lined patio with what looked like water wells on the side there, interesting design! really European like

The owner of the hotel is the man in the middle with the hat on, he is an Italian with an awesome accent! He was always sitting around with the guests and talking to them and making them feel welcome
The place felt secure as there was the staff at reception and security the whole time
Villa Kars Hotel is 10 minute’s drive from Shirak Airport, and it is 5 minute drive from Gyumri Train Station
